Actors Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's six-year marriage may be over, media reports are suggesting.
A 23-year-old woman has accused Kutcher of cheating on Moore at a San Diego nightclub last weekend, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
The woman was identified as 23-year-old Sara Leal. A website called TheDirty.comreceived an email from a friend of Leal's that read, "I'm sick to my stomach over what happened last Friday night. Like most people on earth I worshiped [sic] Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore until Ashton Kutcher [expletive] ed my friend Sara Leal."
The Mercury News said Leal has reportedly hired a lawyer and gone into hiding. One report said she's demanding US$250,000 ($320,000) for her story.
Star Magazine reported the couple have US$300 million in assets.
Various news outlets have noticed that Kutcher, 33, and Moore, 48, have taken a break from their affectionate tweets. Moore tweeted a quote from Greek philosopher Epictetus on September 23, writing, "When we are offended at any man's fault, turn to yourself and study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger."
Three days later, Moore posted a forlorn picture of herself with the caption: "I see through you." Earlier, Moore tweeted she was "trying to find the light I lost".
The pair spent September 24, their sixth wedding anniversary, apart.
