That's a hard question because everywhere we go is pretty awesome. Two that stand out for us, though, would be Butlers Reef in New Plymouth and Opononi Hotel in Opononi, great summer venues and always a crazy crowd to go along with it.
Apart from the gigs, where else are you looking forward to stopping along your tour route?
We always try to stop at any beaches we are driving past (if we have time) and anywhere that has good food.
Do you have a go-to vendor for a great feed?
Not really, we like to eat pretty good so sushi is always good to have and Subway goes well, too. If we have a hangover then McDonald's is a good one for that.
Best spot for a quick dip in the ocean, or an inviting swimming hole?
Anything we come across that looks inviting we usually do a few bombs and cool down.
What song will you be playing to really get the crowd going?
On My Mind is always a good one but we have a few tricks up our sleeve this summer, you might even hear a new track or two.
Do you have any New Year traditions?
Just have a good time and put the best show on we possibly can for our fans.
Who's on your ideal summer music fest dream-team lineup?
Pantera, Michael Jackson, N.W.A, Meshuggah, Heavy Metal Ninjas and Kora.
• Kora play the Oponini Hotel on January 8 and the Mangawhai Tavern on January 9.
