Scorsese's new 3D adventure flick, Hugo, is leading the race with an impressive 11 nods, including best film and director. While French comedy The Artist is up for 10 awards, including best film, director, actor and supporting actress.
"I was watching Hugo the other day and was going, 'Why is this nominated and we're not?' I was slightly miffed," adds Radcliffe.
"There's a certain amount of snobbery. It's kind of disheartening. I never thought I'd care. But it would've been nice to have some recognition, just for the hours put in."
But he concedes: "How much of a pat on the back do we really need? We get paid stupid amounts of money."
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 took in more than $1.3 billion worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. The franchise has also grossed nearly $8 billion worldwide.
Radcliffe's first post-Potter flick, The Woman in Black, scored a cushy $21 million at the US box office over its opening weekend.

Radcliffe also recently told BBC America that Alan Rickman should have been nominated for his role as Professor Severus Snape.
"The one thing I would have loved was for Alan Rickman to get nominated," he said.
"I think what Alan does with that character, with the world watching you expecting that scene to be a certain way, was amazing."
But in a January interview with Moviefone, Radcliffe said: "I didn't expect it to be nominated for Best Picture, and no, it doesn't faze us."
He continued: "Just because we've been around for a long time, and made a lot of movies, I don't think when you come to the end of that series that anyone's obligated to say you're best picture. Obviously it would have been lovely, but I don't think it's something we're going to be losing sleep over."
Radcliffe, 22, also recently revealed that he was drunk while filming some scenes for the Harry Potter movies.
He told Heat magazine that he went off the rails during a period in his life where he was drinking "nightly".
"I have a very addictive personality. It was a problem.
"People with problems like that are very adept at hiding it. It was bad. I don't want to go into details, but I drank a lot and it was daily - I mean nightly.'
He added: "I can honestly say I never drank at work on Harry Potter. I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work. I can point to many scenes where I'm just gone. Dead behind the eyes."
The actor, who was aged 11 when he started working on the Potter movies, says he gave up the booze for good when he was 21.
"I loved the fact I suddenly could talk to people and feel so entertaining and so interesting. But after a while, you're living under such a cloud of shame about what you've done and the dread of who you might see, what you might have said to them, what you might have done with them.
"You either have to change something or give into that shame and I wasn't prepared to do that at 21."
He also explained to ShortList.com why he sobered up.
"It's ridiculous that it's been talked about so much," he said. "The drinking was unhealthy and damaging to my body and my social life. That's beyond question. I was living in constant fear of who I'd meet, what I might have said to them, what I might have done with them, so I'd stay in my apartment for days and drink alone.
"I was a recluse at 20. It was pathetic - it wasn't me. I'm a fun, polite person and it turned me into a rude bore. For a long time people were saying to me, 'We think you have a problem,' but in the end I had to come to the realisation myself."
