Australian comedian Magda Szubanski has come out of the closet.
"I am gay, gay, gay, gay gay, gay gay," the Kath & Kim star announced to Australian current affairs show The Project.
"Now when I say that, what it means is I am absolutely not straight," the 50-year-old said.
Szubanski - who is working on a film version of her hit TV show, in which she plays bumbling friend Sharon Strzelecki - said friends and family had known about her sexuality for years, but admitting it publicly was a big decision.

"Why did I take a while to do this? I needed to be as solid as I could be so I could do this in the strongest possible way and be really clear about myself," New Idea reported her as saying to radio station 3AW.
"I didn't want to come out and botch coming out, as it were. I wanted to be effective and useful for other people, and to get on really solid ground yourself can really take a while."
Szubanski has previously battled weight issues, losing 25kg and becoming a spokesperson for Jenny Craig in the process.
She joked about "demolishing" a packet of chocolate biscuits over nerves about coming out on Australian TV.
The Kath & Kim Filum is due for release later in the year.
