Currently working on her first album in 12 years, Spice Girl Emma Bunton had one condition before allowing fellow talent Robbie Williams to duet with her.
Bunton's beef with Williams comes after he made a "very naughty" joke during an episode of The Dan Wootton Interview podcast, reports news.com.au.
"I'm very fortunate I'm one of the only people in the world that can say they've been in Take That and four out of five of the Spice Girls," Williams quipped during the interview, according to The Sun.
Emma Bunton (aka Baby Spice) has since revealed a hilarious email exchange between herself and the "Angels" singer as they planned to record a new duet of the Spice Girls hit "2 Become 1".
After she called him out on the raunchy rumour, Williams apologetically replied: "Sometimes I think I'm being funny."
And in the true spirit of friendship and sisterhood, Bunton replied not just on behalf of herself, but all of her bandmates, saying: "You are funny and we adore you but stop saying it now. We forgive you if you don't ever say it again."
Bunton is set to have her say when she stars in her own upcoming episode of the same podcast.
And luckily for the obliging Robbie Williams, he's set to feature on Bunton's brand new solo album My Happy Place.
According to The Sun, Bunton couldn't be more excited for the collaboration.
"He was brilliant, and said yes straight away. Can't wait. He kept emailing saying, 'Is there anything else you need me to do?' Very professional as always and, yeah, I really like it," she said.
Despite pursuing her solo career, Bunton is also months out from rejoining her bandmates as for their highly anticipated summer comeback tour (sans Posh).
But Emma Bunton had no criticism for Victoria Beckham, saying she understands her decision.
"We've really learnt and grown up. We totally respect each other's differences and Victoria is not ready to get back up on stage."
The only people more excited than the Spice Girls fandom about this reunion, are the Spice Girls themselves.
"We all can't wait to get back into a rehearsal studio and do our dance routines," Emma said excitedly. "It's about people power now — we want to lift everyone's spirits again, and there's light."
