Dominic Bowden and Sharyn Casey will host TV3's reboot of Dancing with the Stars, it has been confirmed.
The X Factor star and radio DJ will host the new season of the celebrity competitive dancing show when it airs later this year.
Dancing with the Stars aired for five seasonson TV One, and TV3's reboot will feature 10 Kiwi celebrities each paired with a professional dancer.
Each couple will be scrutinised by a judging panel and fans of the show, ahead of weekly eliminations. Former host Candy Lane has already confirmed her return as a judge.
Bowden, who was a backstage host on the US version of the show last year, told Woman's Day he is a "pretty epic dancer".
"I've been pracising the lawn mower and the dolphin dive in the privacy of my own home, so you never know - I could whip them out at some point," he said.
Casey told WD she too had dancing experience after being crowned the "South Canterbury tap-dancing champion".
"I'm amazing at the running man, so I can certainly teach the contestants a thing or two if they need any help."
While the contestants haven't been announced, Casey wants Richie McCaw to take part.
"I love him. I just hope that we'd spend enough time together and then he'd see that I'm meant to be his wife. My actual husband is totally on board with this idea, by the way."
No date has been confirmed by TV3 for Dancing With the Stars. It's canon of local reality shows also includes The Bachelor, Grand Designs, The Block, Masterchef and The X Factor NZ.
