A staff member at Eagles Nest declined to comment on whether or not the mega-star would return to wander the greens.
The singer will be playing Vector Arena this week with shows on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday as part of his 20/20 world tour.
In the meantime JT's dance crew will get some practice in when they attend a dance workshop tomorrow.
Local dance entrepreneur Jay Tewake is running a dance workshop with several crew members in Mt Roskill. The class is open to all, Tewake said, and featured three female dancers from the tour who would be workshopping dance moves with punters.
Dancers did a similar thing in 2007 and workshop-goers were even surprised by a brief visit from Timberlake himself.
"He was actually playing golf and then came out and saw us and that was cool", said Mr Tewake.
"He's the reason why those workshops were on - because of his creativity.
"When we get the choreographers that come in, they are awesome - when you meet those people that's the ultimate highlight and JT is also promoting his dancers by being there."
Mr Tewake is now hoping Timberlake might be up to stopping by again this year.
Timberlake will perform hits from his latest album as well as his classic hits during the shows.
