He may be known for playing adventure hero Indiana Jones, but Harrison Ford's terrifying plane crash was no film stunt.
The experienced pilot and iconic actor lost his memory for five days after getting into trouble above California in March.
Seven months on, Ford spoke about his accident for thefirst time, revealing he suffered memory loss for almost a week afterwards and still can't recall finer details of the incident.
"Yeah I remember," he told talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. "Not all of it, I remember some of it."
The crash happened on a California golf course - fortunately two doctors on hand as the plane came down and were able to tend to the actor before ambulances arrived.
"I remember the engine stopping, I remember that part very well," he recalled. "I remember the tower, I remember their suggestion.
"Their suggestion was that I take the normal route to land and I knew I wasn't going to do that, so I said no...And that's the last thing that I remember until five days afterwards actually."

The actor said he has retrograde amnesia, which means he can not recall some events that happened before the accident.
