Half-and-half: Will this horror hair trend dominate 2016?

Trendsetters are worried copycats might turn Will Forte's horrific new look into something to be admired.

The star of comedy show The Last Man on Earth showed off his half-shaved, half-hairy head when he walked the red carpet at the Critics' Choice Awards yesterday.

The 45-year-old took the look to extremes, shaving off just one eyebrow.

If you're wondering why Forte would do such a thing to his face, the fact his co-star Mel Rodriguez is also doing it seems to indicate it will feature heavily in the third season of The Last Man on Earth.

Forte told Entertainment Weekly his haircut was "the dumbest-looking thing you have ever seen".

But the look sparked plenty of concerns among trendsetters, with GQ saying: "Your worst haircut has nothing on Will Forte's new look."

The Huffington Post said: "Will Forte's half-shaven head and face look is so chic it hurts."

With headlines like those, don't be surprised if you start seeing the half-and-half look dominating catwalks soon.
