Chace Crawford has been arrested for marijuana possession.
The Gossip Girl star was arrested while in a parked car in the Dallas suburb of Plano on Friday.
He was booked and later released on a misdemeanour charge for possession of less than two ounces of the drug, which
was not lit on his arrest.
A source told HollywoodLife: "Chace was rolling a joint. He had a little under two ounces of marijuana in a plastic baggy sitting in clear view on the dashboard.
"He was very polite and low key in a pair of jeans and flip flops and never identified himself."
The 24-year-old was heading back from Mexico where he had been spending time with his sister.
The maximum charge for possession in Texas is six months in jail and a fine of up to $2,000.
