Geri Halliwell has reportedly split from her fiance of three months, Italian tycoon Fabrizio Politi, after deciding she didn't want to marry him.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Geri woke up one morning last week and decided she just wasn't the marrying type.
"She loved being ina relationship but decided that all she needs is her daughter Bluebell to keep her happy. Fabrizio is upset but totally respects Geri's wishes"
Geri has a daughter, two-year-old Bluebell, from a previous relationship with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi.
Friends of the 36-year-old star insist they are not surprised by her decision, as she "has a track record for getting cold feet".
Only last month it was reported the pair were planning a summer wedding in Las Vegas and that Geri was already considering having a baby with 34-year-old Fabrizio.
Geri recently admitted she is whimsical when it comes to relationships.
She said: "I can be fickle. One minute I think somebody is the love of my life, the next I don't. I have commitment issues."
