Dance music superstar David Guetta has been left with a hefty repair bill after DJ Tiesto crashed a luxury yacht into his dock at his Miami, Florida home.
Tiesto was on board a top-of-the-line yacht with fellow DJ Martin Garrix on Wednesday when they paid a visit to Guetta's SouthBeach property to pick him up for a party.
However, the engine stalled as they approached the pad and the Dutch star and his companions were unable to stop the yacht from barrelling into the wooden dock, according to TMZ.com. No one was injured in the accident and the boat escaped without a scratch, but repairs to Guetta's dock are expected to set him back $US30,000 ($A38,363.17).
Video footage of the incident, posted on Garrix's Instagram page, shows Guetta laughing hysterically at his pals, before joining them on the yacht.
The wealthy Frenchman, who reportedly earned $US30 million in 2013, also joked about the crash on Instagram, where he posted a photo of himself and the destroyed dock.
"Life is beautiful when friends come say hi ... Just a little expensive!" he captioned the photo.
