The portable Vita gets another console port, and this one is louder and prouder than the rest.
Ratchet and Clank are the PlayStation family's lovely little demolition crew and, after a remastered run on the PS3 last year, the original PS2 trilogy is in your hands for mayhem on the
move.
It's another pitch-perfect choice for this device as the series' formula of gadgets, adventure, puzzles, and laugh-out-loud cheekiness position it quite snugly in the mobile games family.
Vita owners aren't quite spoiled for choice yet, but it seems we're getting there.
There's a little bit of boom-factor lost in the transition to the Vita and its bikkie-sized screen, and veteran eyes may need some time to re-contextualise the games' familiar space-baddie-bashing action within a smaller space. But rest assured that all of that satisfying, crunchy Ratchet and Clank gameplay is intact.
