An extra on Game of Thrones has revealed just how realistic life on set of the world's biggest TV show can be.
Describing himself as a "hardcore Game of Thrones fan", Felipe Ferri shared his experience in response to a question on Q&A website Quora.
Ferri played a servant atKing Joffrey's wedding feast, shooting scenes in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik.
"The five days I spent on the set were amazing," he wrote. "They were intense - we had to meet at a pickup point at 4am and were dropped off at the same point at 7pm, but everything was so exciting that even the long hours didn't matter."
Ferri was so immersed in the world of Thrones that he began to forget that they were actors on a set.
"It is funny that you kinda begin to think that everything is real," he said. "It is kinda scary, if you think about it. It was also extremely funny the anachronisms that you see in a place like that.
"Though your brain is starting to accept that you are in a medieval world, suddenly when you look to the side you see a servant typing on his iPhone."
Having only read the first book of the series before filming, Ferri was exposed to some pretty major spoilers - but he wasn't too concerned about it.
