Gal Gadot says it's entirely plausible that Wonder Woman is bisexual.
While the DC Comics superhero does not have any same sex relationships in the upcoming film slated for a June 2017 release, the Israeli actress says it's not unreasonable to think that living in Themyscira, a place populated only by women, impacted the character's sexuality, according to the Daily Mail.
"She's a woman who loves people for who they are," she told Variety. 'She can be bisexual. She loves people for their hearts.'
"It's not something we've explored," Gadot added. "It never came to the table, but when you talk theoretically about all the women on Themyscira and how many years she was there, then (it) makes sense."
The idea that Wonder Woman is bisexual was floated by longtime comic book writer Greg Rucka last month.
Gadot, 31, has spent the best part of a year as Wonder Woman.
The Israeli actress first donned the costume for Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, then again for Wonder Woman and again for the currently filming Justice League movie.

The movie is directed by Patty Jenkins, best known for directing Charlize Theron in her Oscar-winning role as serial killer Aileen Wuornos in 2003's Monster.
"She knew exactly how she wanted to tell her story. She knew exactly what she wanted to get. She's brilliant and smart and so passionate," Gadot enthused.
"Maybe because we're telling a story of a girl growing up and becoming a woman, it's easier for it to be told by someone who was once a girl and became a woman," she said.
