A new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie Man of Steel has been released. It emphasises the human side of Superman through a conversation between Clark Kent and his adoptive Earth father Jonathan Kent, played by Kevin Costner, before ending the hero taking to the skies. Man of Steel is helmed by Watchmen and 300 director Zach Snyder and produced by Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan. Henry Cavill plays Superman.

His adoptive father Jonathan Kent, played by Kevin Costner, tells him to hide who he is afterhe apparently saves children whose schoolbus plunged into a river from drowning.
There are also glimpses of blockbuster-scale action at the end of the 2 minute 30 trailer once Henry Cavill takes to the skies as Superman.
Russell Crowe makes a brief appearance as Jor-El along with Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
