Five weird rumours about Louis Tomlinson's baby - are they true?

The rumour mill has been working double-time since news broke that Louis Tomlinson is going to be a father. Here are some of the strangest rumours currently circulating.

1. Louis got Briana pregnant while he was still with ex-girlfriend Eleanor Caulder

Directioners have been doing the maths. Briana is reportedly around 11 weeks pregnant, meaning this immaculate conception must have occurred sometime in March. Also in March, Louis broke up with his girlfriend of five years, Eleanor Caulder. Which means he was cutting it pretty close ... or did he cheat? Some suspect so.

2. Louis might name his baby 'Naughty Boy'

British bookies are giving odds of 100/1 that Louis will name his baby after ex-bandmate Zayn Malik's producer Naughty Boy. This seems fairly unlikely, not only because it's a silly name, but because Louis and Zayn have both slammed him on Twitter.

It's more likely he'll name his sprog after Zayn himself, with the odds at 25/1 - or there's a 50/1 chance he'll name it 'One'.

3. Briana Jungwirth is a surrogate for Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles

The news of Louis' first child has reignited 'Larry shippers', who believe Tomlinson is in a secret relationship with bandmate Harry Styles. Some have gone as far to suggest that Briana is carrying Louis' child as a surrogate for the pair to raise together. The fact that she's been described as his "good friend" rather than his girlfriend just adds fuel to the fire.

4. Louis predicted he'd be a dad back three years ago

This one is true - sort of. On April Fools' Day back in 2012, Louis tweeted, "Can't believe I'm going to be a Dad! Wow!!"

5. The news has healed his relationship with Zayn

When Zayn Malik left One Direction, it was speculated that he had a rocky relationship with the other band members and he and Louis in particular had feuded.

Now, according to Hollywood Life, Zayn has poured his heart out in a letter congratulating Louis.

"Zayn sent Louis a really open, honest, and emotional letter congratulating him," a source told the gossip website. "Zayn told him what a great father he thought Louis would be and how proud he was of his friend."
