Why the tears, Gwyneth?

Gwyneth Paltrow was seen fighting back tears this week at an Aids gala in Hong Kong. No, her emotional outburst had nothing to do with the life-claiming disease. Instead, New Idea reports the Iron Man actress was struggling with rumours of her ex Chris Martin "totally hooking up" with close family friend Kate Hudson.
The infatuation went public when pictures of Kate, Chris and their respective broods were spotted together at a Malibu beach on a "play date". Classic. Kate was, of course, in a "skimpy bikini", because what else says undeniable love like a swimsuit at the seaside? Chris and Kate appeared to have a natural rapport, even when surrounded by four children, who seemed oblivious they were crashing a hot date. Kids, so selfish. Chris and Kate have also been spotted at the gym at the same time, sweaty and tired, on another obvious date. How will Gwyneth cope with all this? Well she's reportedly dangling the proverbial "reunion carrot" in front of Chris like the true Easter bunny she is. Nailed it, New Idea.

Diaz pregnant?

Cameron Diaz is most definitely, beyond a shadow of doubt, pregnant. Spotted shopping with sister-in-law and friend Nicole Ritchie, Diaz sported a "knowing smile", essentially throwing a positive pregnancy test in our faces. Other potential signs include a darker hair colour and a comfortable dress. Diaz has spoken of her reluctance to have children in the past, but New Idea assures us the whole purpose of the Diaz-Madden union was only to procreate. Thank goodness someone finally said what we were all thinking. At 42, "close friends" say Diaz "does not have a lot of time to waste" which certainly seems the friendliest of all friendly things for close friends to tell the media. We could all get by from a little help from a "close friend". In the meantime, congratulations Cameron - if it's true.

Foxx and Holmes

In the whirlwind that is celebrity relationships in Hollywood, Katie Holmes is no longer shamelessly flirting with her married co-star as reported several weeks ago but in a serious relationship. Yes, she is rumoured to have bought a house in Los Angeles to be closer to beau Jamie Foxx. From highly specified sources New Idea calls "those in the know," Holmes is reported to be in a fully-fledged two-year relationship with Foxx. Surprise! The Dawson's Creek star has purchased a $5 million home in Calabasas, not because its secluded community is a favourite among the stars, but because it's just a quick 30-minute drive from Foxx's home. Only a speedy half-hour away? They're practically neighbours. Cruise is apparently screening calls from his old friend Foxx and feels betrayed. Foxx is smitten with Holmes, calling her "his girl", although the jury's still out as to whether he could be referring to either of his two daughters. There's nothing left to do but sit and wait with bated breath.

Beckhams on edge

The Beckhams are on the edge. Again. Posh and Becks are struggling to save their marriage. Again. The family have been rarely photographed united, reports New Idea, with Victoria in London preparing her fashion collection while David is in Los Angeles. During times apart Becks has reportedly been acting like a bachelor - driving the kids around alone rather than with a wife also in tow. Victoria's "exaggerated" body language - holding hands with David while pushing her hair off her face - is screaming for attention. In desperation to keep her marriage alive, Victoria is said to have gone down the path any self-respecting woman would: plastic surgery and dieting. They're the key ingredients to any healthy relationship of 15 years.

Sex change tell-all?

Kendall Jenner has denied comments to US Weekly regarding father Bruce Jenner's alleged sex change. It's apparently an elaborate cover up for "spilling the beans". No member of the Kardashian-Jenner collab has confirmed Bruce's sex change and Bruce "never imagined Kendall would expose him". How could you, Kendall? Kendall took to Twitter to deny her reported tell-all to a US magazine that allegedly included the comments: "I will always love my dad, whether he's a man or a woman". But don't be fooled. It's another Kardashian conspiracy according to the tabloids. US Weekly have since retracted Kendall's "comments", an easily predicted move for a magazine trying to preserve its reputation for hard hitting journalistic integrity.
