Five things Justin Bieber should do in Auckland today

Justin Bieber is in Auckland on a quickfire promotional trip. He's got a bit of downtime today, so what else should he do while he's here? Tess Nichol has some suggestions.

1. Go to the opening of the new mega mall

Bieber has been down under for a while now, so he must be missing the comforts of home. And what's more American than a shopping mall? The new NorthWest mega mall, home to New Zealand's largest Farmers, opens today. Bieber could shop up a storm, and, if he applied for a Farmers club card, he could also bag himself a sweet $20 voucher in the process.

2. Visit the White Lady

Grabbing a burger from the White Lady is a quintessential Auckland experience. Just ask Eva Longoria, who thoroughly enjoyed a burger from the famous van during her trip to New Zealand earlier this year.

3. Go see hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd

Bieber should support his peers, and this bratty duo happen to be playing in Auckland later on tonight, so he could easily pop over to Studio after his acoustic set wraps up.

4. Jump off the Harbour Bridge - again

During his first visit to our shores in 2010, Bieber and mama Bieber jumped off the bridge, but five years later the memory has probably faded. Maybe he could jump again but add a new twist - in the nude, perhaps, or without a rope.

5. Drive out West to the Waitakere ranges to sit and ponder life in peaceful isolation

El Bieberino finds the constant harassment of fans very taxing and has repeatedly asked his Australasian fans to respect his privacy while he's over here. A short trip out West would ensure the pop star some tranquil alone time in the beautiful New Zealand bush.
