Get ready to spice up your lives again: the biggest girl group of the 90s is officially back.
For the first time since their reunion tour in 2007, a new Spice Girls song has leaked online, and it shows the girls have not given up on their girl power message.
Titled Song for Her, it's already been described as a feminist anthem aimed at their now older fan base.
The lyrics include: "My head's in the days / when the caffeine is fixing / chasing the clock but I can't stop it ticking / nobody knows but I am barely keeping it together.
"Wipe all your tears of doubts you've been crying / lift up your dreams / feel like you're flying / never forget the girl is the woman you are."
The single is the first to come out of the Spice Girls: GEM project announced earlier this year.
While we do not yet know if it will be a reunion tour or album, the project sees Mel 'Scary' Brown, Geri 'Ginger' Horner and Emma 'Baby' Bunton reunited for the first time since their 2012 performance at the London Olympics.
When the project was announced, Mel 'Sporty' Chisholm revealed she had decided not to join the trio in order to spend more time with her daughter.
Victoria 'Posh' Beckham is not expected to return but has not confirmed this.
The Spice Girls formed in 1994 and released three albums, the first peaking at No. 1 in the UK, US and New Zealand. They split up in 2000 but reformed for a reunion tour in 2007.
The group is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their first album this year. With the song getting positive reception already, expect more details on the reunion before the celebratory year is out.
