Check out the first trailer for Pixels, coming soon to a theatre near you.
Pac-Man goes on the rampage and Game Of Thrones star Peter Dinklage sports a wicked mullet and drives a mini-Ghostbusters car in the trailer for the upcoming sci-fi comedy Pixels.
Pixels is about a number of classic 1980s arcade games that descend from space to attack earth.
The trailer beginswith an obvious reference to Independence Day, as the shadow of a mysterious alien object descends over the White House.
"Some alien life force has sent real life video games to attack us," an ominous voice warns.
Dinklage fits snuggly in a mini, fitted out in the style of the car in Ghostbusters, as he joins forces to kill Pac-Man because, like in the video game, only ghosts can take out the yellow gobbler.
Pac-Man takes out a fire engine and then meets his creator who calls him his son, but it doesn't end well for Toru Iwatani who has his hand chomped.
There's a few other references to other arcade games such as Donkey Kong going ape and tossing barrels.
It's up to former 1980s video game champion Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler), who is amazed that Pac-Man "is a bad guy", and his former team of gamers, to fight.
