First look at Margot Robbie in Suicide Squad

Australian screen siren Margot Robbie looks stunning as Harley Quinn, the Joker's psychotic partner in crime in the new film Suicide Squad.

Director David Ayre tweeted a photo of supervillain team in full wardrobe and make-up to Twitter on Monday and it's Robbie that's getting all the attention.

As expected Robbie's look is similar to that of Jared Leto's Joker - but with much more leg and some freaky blue hair.

"Margot Robbie either walked out of an Arkham game or a New 52 comic. She looks spot on as #HarleyQuinn. #SuicideSquad," Sean Gerber wrote on Twitter.

"Well, @MargotRobbie as Harley Quinn ensures I'm gonna go see it in theatres at least 3 times. Well played, DavidAyerMovies. Well played," Brian Q Quinn wrote.

Even celebrity blogger Perez Hilton raved about Robbie writing: "#MargotRobbie is our favourite part of the brand new #SuicideSquad cast photo."

The photo also features Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress.

Suicide Squad is based on the DC comics series of villains who are forced to take on the role of heros. The film is currently in production and due to be released in mid-2016.
