The final episode of Game of Thrones is nearly here and HBO has teased fans with a first look at how the show ends.
The US network has released two new photos from the final episode, which was written and directed by GoT showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.
Oneimage features Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) looking brooding and intense, while the other shows Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) from the back, overlooking a battle scene.

The GoT finale is expected to draw a huge global audience when it screens om Foxtel in Australia on Monday, local-time.
Though it attracted criticism from diehard fans, the second-last episode, titled The Bells, drew a record audience for HBO with 18.4 million viewers tuning in.

Meantime, known for playing brooding action hero Jon Snow but Kit Harington was reduced to tears while shooting the final Game of Thrones episode.
In a trailer for upcoming HBO documentary The Last Watch, Harington is shown visibly upset as the cast gathered for the series' final-ever table read.
The Last Watch tracks the making of GoT's eighth and final series and features interviews with the cast and crew, including a revealing insight at how they made the movie-style final series.
