Fans are worried about Selena Gomez after 13 Reasons Why comparisons

Selena Gomez has made a pretty drastic change to her look and her fans are really worried about her.

The It Ain't Me singer took to Instagram to share the new look; a bold new haircut which has seen her ditch her trademark long locks in favour of a clean-cut bob.

Most fans were on board with the new do, with the post racking up more than 2 million likes and a host of positive comments.

But others are concerned for the star for the strangest reason.

In Netflix's new show 13 Reasons Why, about a suicidal teen named Hannah Baker, Hannah reaches a low point and cuts her hair short.

Now, fans are worried the same thing is happening to Selena Gomez, without any other evidence at all.

"Hannah Baker cut all her hair off. I'm kind of worried," one fan wrote.

Another added: "Is she OK? She looks really sad and she needs to eat more food."

Numerous comments pointed out that Gomez looks like Hannah Baker and renamed her "Selena Baker, while one fan commented: "Just like Hannah Baker!" followed by skull and ghost emojis.
