Jonah Hill, left, and Leonardo DiCaprio in a scene from The Wolf of Wall Street.
Jonah Hill snorted so much fake cocaine on the set of The Wolf Of Wall Street he was struck down with bronchitis.
The Oscar-nominated star plays fraudster Donnie Azoff in the new Martin Scorsese movie, a character based on a close pal of the film's real life star, sex-and-drugs obsessed
stockbroker Jordan Belfort.
Hill and co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, who plays Belfort, were required to sniff countless fat lines of vitamin D powder as they portrayed the cocaine-snorting traders, but endless retakes left Hill sick for six weeks.
He tells The Observer Magazine: "I snorted so much of that stuff that I got, like, bronchitis! My lungs were filled with powder and I got really sick for a month and a half. But, I mean, I'd do it again in a second.
"The first time you snort fake cocaine in a Scorsese movie you feel like ... I don't know! I got embarrassed because I said that it's every actor's dream.
