My Chemical Romance is coming back and suddenly it's 2006 again.
Somebody check what year it is because My Chemical Romance just broke the internet.
The much loved band were the height of cool in the early 2000s with their albums Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and The Black Parade, but broke up in 2013.
But this morning, the band updated their social media profile pictures, put up pre-orders for new t-shirts, and shared the below teaser video with the opening melody from their iconic track, Welcome To The Black Parade.
Is it a reunion? A new album? A Black Parade re-release? A tour? All of the above?
Well, no one knows. But they did tease the date we'll find out: September 23.
Not only have fans been losing their minds over the news, but fellow musicians have taken to Twitter to welcome their old friends back into the fold and everyone from Paramore's Hayley Williams to Blessthefall's Eric Lambert is counting down just like the fans.
Dear MCR, you left... and now you think you can just come back and toy with my emotions? Not okay. #QuitPlayingGamesWithMyHeart
