Emma Stone never fails to look flawless on every red carpet she walks down. But at the Venice Film Festival, the actress looked particularly heavenly.
The 27-year-old sparkled in a high-neck custom Atelier Versace gown, made up of beaded ribbons. It was the perfect combination of playfulness and glamour atthe opening ceremony of the festival, where her upcoming film La La Land also premiered.
In the Damien Chazelle-directed musical, Stone plays an aspiring actress in Los Angeles who falls in love with a jazz musician, played by Ryan Gosling.

Speaking to press before the premiere, Stone said she hoped the movie would inspire young people to stop being cynical.
"I think young people have fallen into a lot of cynicism and making fun of things and pointing out the flaws in everything and this movie is anything but that. So it's a huge joy to be able to show it to young people. This is what I hope young people will do is work hard to achieve their dreams, and hope instead of being cynical."
