Rapper Mac Miller was found on Friday in his San Fernando Valley home from an apparent drug overdose.
Elton John has paid tribute to Mac Miller during the opening show of his farewell tour.
The superstar dedicated his hit Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me to the rapper, who died on Saturday, aged 26.
John said: "I'd like to dedicate this song to Mac Miller who,unbelievably, at 26 years of age passed away yesterday. It's inconceivable that someone as young, and with so much talent, could do that.
"And I just would like to pass all of our love and best wishes to his loved ones, his family, his friends. And Mac, wherever you are, I hope you're happy now."
John wasn't the only one to honour the late rapper during his show.
Fellow rapper Childish Gambino - aka Donald Glover - took a moment during his concert in Chicago, admitting: "I'm a very sensitive person…this Mac Miller shit got me f***ed up".
Glover said of Miller: "He was so nice. He was the sweetest guy, he was so nice. And we were both internet music kids and a lot of critics were like; 'This corny-ass white dude, this corny-ass black dude,' and we used to talk. And this kid, he just loved music.
"And we should be allowed to be sad about it. Like, my heart was broken…and I feel good about being sad, because it tells me that he was special, that I had a special moment… Everybody in this room deserves that.
"So I just wanna say; I love you Mac. And...this song is for him, because I feel like sometimes he wanted to let go," he said, before dedicating his song Riot to the late rapper.
Rapper G-Eazy also paid tribute to Miller during a show in Florida.
He broke down as he dedicated his song 'Everything Will Be OK' to his friend, projecting a photo of Miller onto the screen behind him.
He told the crowd: "I swear, life is so f***ing fragile. Appreciate the moment. Be present in it. Tell people you love you care about them."
