Elderly dancing queen catches attention of Nicki Minaj

An elderly lady's energetic dance moves in a Belgian street have caught the eye of Nicki Minaj.

Ammar Dafri, a beatboxing street performer from Algeria known as Power Beat, was entertaining the public in Brussels when an elderly lady decided to show off her dancing skills.

Standing in the street with her dog, the woman gave a solo performance that had bystanders clapping and cheering.

Dafri was impressed by her display, writing online: "I was really moved by this woman and I played the harmonica for her. That's what art can do."

The woman's exuberant performance even made it to the Facebook page of pop star Nicki Minaj.

"Dance dance dance dance dance..." Nicki Minaj posted to her page, linking to Power Beat's video.
