A Texas man's dying wish is to see the latest Star Wars film but he's worried he won't live long enough to make that dream come true.
Daniel Fleetwood, 32, has been a Star Wars fan since he was eight years old.
He collects memorabilia, has camped out for movietickets and has even written Star Wars fan fiction but now he's worried terminal cancer will rob him of the chance to see the Force Awakens sequel when it's released on December 18.
"Judging by how progressive the disease has gotten in the past two months, I really don't think that I'll be able to make it," Daniel told local news network KPRC.
In July, Fleetwood's oncologist gave him just two months to live, but the super fan believes he is still here because he's hanging in to see the movie.
"I just love Star Wars," he said. "With everything I've got I love Star Wars."
Fleetwood is asking Walt Disney studios to let him see a version of the film before its release date, even if it's supervised by a movie executive.
KPRC reports actor Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the original movies, has thrown his support behind Fleetwood.
