Terminally ill reality TV star

Jade Goody

has been released from her London hospital so she can spend her final days surrounded by her friends and family.

Goody, 27, who is believed to have only weeks left to live after being told her cervical cancer has spread to her liver, groin and bowel - will spend her remaining days with her two boys, Bobby, five, and four-year-old Freddie, in their Essex home.

The

Big Brother

star was

seen leaving London's Royal Marsden hospital

yesterday, with husband

Jack Tweed

by her side.

Jade's publicist Max Clifford

said, "The whole point is that she wants to spend as much time as she can with Jack and the boys and obviously with the help from the Marsden and if they can train up the local Macmillan nurses they will keep her pain free by topping up the epidural.

"It's where she wants to be and where she wants to spend whatever time she's got left and I would hope that they manage to keep her pain free so she doesn't have to go into hospital again.

"Jack's with her, her mum's coming over, they'll be close friends around her because she's got a lot of very good and very close friends," he said.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Goody's eyesight has deteriorated and she can now only see out of one eye.

'I want to be remembered as the mouthy bird'

In a new interview with

magazine, Jade has also sent a final public message saying, "I'm dying ... but I'm happy."

She added, "I can look back and be proud of what I've done. I've achieved more in 27 years than some achieve in their lifetime."

In her usual cheeky fashion, Goody also said she wants to be remembered as "a mouthy bird - the one who irritated and entertained people in equal measure.

"But I also want to be remembered as the girl who put up a fight and would never let herself get beaten down.

"I was given a death sentence, but I didn't let it kill me. I fought it, got married, got christened. I'm happy."

Media glare

Jade's decision to document her demise in the glare of the media has polarised opinion. While many have praised the ailing star for being so open about her illness, others have criticised her for turning her death into a media circus.

British glamour model

Jordan

(aka Katie Price) was one of Jade's foremost detractors, and publicly slated Goody for making a public announcement about her cervical cancer in August last year. A feud between the pair quickly erupted.

However Jordan quickly retracted her comments as Goody's condition deteriorated.

And Oasis singer

Noel Gallagher

recently attacked the press coverage surrounding Goody. He said: "I was watching the TV today and they're [journalists] all outside her house."

"I mean, I've got f*** all against Jade Goody, that's nothing to do with me," he added.

"But it bends my head. That, to me, sums up, in one tiny five-minute thing on the news, what an embarrassing place Britain is right now. You might as well shut Number 10 Downing Street down and get Max Clifford to run the country."

Whatever you think of Goody's decision to allow the cameras to document her demise, there's no denying that our fascination with the tragic events has been triggered by two things - our own mortality, and the realisation of just how fragile life is.

And now for something a little lighter...

Quote of the day

"I don't have one (perfect romance) and I don't think it exists. We are just fooling ourselves if we think it does. Whoever said that every relationship has to last forever? That's hoping for too much. I think every relationship is a world unto itself."

- Jennifer Aniston is a hopeless romantic

Sticking with Aniston. Just when we thought she'd finally given her "I still love Brad" routine a rest, she's back to fawning over her past love with the Hollywood hunk.

She tells Britain's

magazine, "I don't regret any of that time with Brad and I'm not here to beat myself up about it. They were seven very intense years together and it was beautiful and complicated.

"I will love Brad for the rest of my life - you can't take away good memories. Were there times when I had a little 'pity party' for myself? Of course. Who hasn't done that?"

Hear that? It's her pity party and she'll cry if she wants to.

Pop's favourite lycra-loving granny was snapped dressed up as a naughty schoolgirl for the Jewish celebration of Purim at the Kabbalah Center in New York this week. Let's put it this way, she looked like she'd raided her 12-year-old daughter's closet.

may be back on planet Earth as far as her sobriety goes, but as far as her love life is concerned, she's on a rocketride to planet denial.

It appears as though Winehouse is still smitten with her hubby

Blake Fielder-Civil

(despite the rumour that he's allegedly dating a 17-year-old schoolgirl) and wants him back.

Waxing lyrical on her Facebook page, Wino says "nothing is worth more" than Blake.

That poignant message is quickly followed by: "Amy where's my oblivious blakey boy? x NONE of this makes sense AT all."

You said it, girl.

As old as the hills

They say the old ones are always the best, and that's probably true as far as this wind-breaking video gag goes.

Appropriately titled 'Fart Interrupts City Council', the video does exactly what it says on the tin:

She says: "I have put my old implant which was removed on my MTV show watched by the nation up for auction on eBay!

"All the money raised will be donated to the Breast Cancer Campaign. Please click on the link (to the eBay page) to find out all about this wonderful charity, with many more pics of me and my old boobie."

We won't scoff, it's for charity.
