Despite mixed results in the past, a new interview suggests next year's Oscars ceremony will have two hosts instead of one.
Two new executive producers will be in charge of the 2016 Academy Awards ceremony, with former 20th Century Fox executive David Hill and Django Unchained producer Reginald Hudlin teamingup to produce the biggest night in Hollywood.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the producers hinted that they could bring in two celebrity hosts.
"There will be multiple hosts for sure - there will be two," Hill said, later joking it would be handy in case one of them died during the show.
They later attempted to backtrack on the comment, but as with anything on the internet, people have jumped on the idea.
A twosome hasn't been attempted since 2011, when James Franco and Anne Hathaway hosted to much criticism. Their efforts included stilted jokes and a number of awkward silences, with many suggesting Franco was high for much of the show.
Despite the poor track record, people are buzzing about the possibilities a pair of hosts could offer.
