The latest Disney Infinity release isn't just about droid battles and high-octane light saber action.
The game's third edition also comes with an upgraded Toy Box mode, Disney Infinity's build-your-own-adventure option that operates like Disney's version of Minecraft.
While the Star Wars story steals the limelight this time around, theToy Box has built up a steady and loyal community of world builders who are waiting to see what new tools they'll have at their disposal.
Over the past two releases, they've shared their best inventions through the game's community channels, the best of which are showcased on the Toy Box TV channel on YouTube. There's even a Toy Box championship held each year for the most dedicated users.
This time around, the new tools are said to allow players to build and tend to a farm, create racetracks and mazes, or even craft your own role-playing game in even more realistic ways.
For Disney Infinity producer Matt Solie, that means he can't wait to see what players will craft with their new Toy Box tools.
"It's crazy [what they come up with]. In Disney Infinity 2.0, somebody used the text tool to create a three-and-a-half hour Black Widow solo mission, and it's awesome. Black Widow goes back to Soviet Russia to steal back a document. Then she has to escape the base and steal this jet to do it.
"My second favourite is someone who used a weather vane tool to make a fictitious two-and-a-half minute roller coaster. It takes you through eight unique worlds and you can disembark in each and play a mini game.
