Two couples hit the rocks on the latest episde of Married At First Sight. Video/Three
A cryptic social media post by a groom of the first marriage that appears to disintegrate within days of swapping rings on hit television show Married at First Sight has hinted they may not be headed to the divorce courts yet.
In a dramatic, tear-filled episode, lovebirds Haydn Daniels andformer Bachelor contestant Bel Clarke parted ways before their honeymoon ended, the couple in a fully fledged cold war refusing to talk to each other after unexplained, ongoing friction.
Daniels revealed since their wedding day, things had "turned to crap" and his new wife had "shut down".
The episode ended with Daniels heading to the airport alone, leaving Clarke behind at their plush Adelaide hotel.
But school teacher Daniels, who appears from social media posts to be enjoying the October school holidays in Europe, said it had been a crazy few days and overwhelming watching it all go to air.
He thanked everyone for their support and asked people to be kind.
And although viewers were left with a tearful Daniels sitting in a taxi and his new wife declaring she was prepared to end the marriage, a post on Facebook raised doubts about whether it was really over.
"No spoilers but it's not over till it's over," said Daniels in a post with his arms wrapped around his mum Glenda.
Earlier, his wife and fellow MAFS contestant Lacey Swanepoel, whose marriage to former pro surfer Luke Cederman also appeared to hit the rocks in last night's episode, also turned to social media saying not everything shown was the whole truth or the real story.
"Remember cut, edit and paste is reality TVs best friend," posted Clarke with her new reality TV friend she calls her "wifey" adding the hashtag thetruthalwayscomesout.
