Does Jenny from the block have her eye on another rock?

The rumour mill has been buzzing that Jennifer Lopez wants to be a bride again and is planning on tying the knot with her 24-year-old backing dancer, Casper Smart.

And she's apparently in a hurry.

According to tabloid tattler Star magazine, Lopez, 42, who split from husband of seven years Marc Anthony in July, is chomping at the bit to trot down the aisle with her new beau.

The tab's report claims that the lovebirds will wed during an intimate beach ceremony in Kauai, Hawaii.

"Kauai is where Jen and Casper said 'I love you' to each other for the first time, and she wants to go back for an intimate beach wedding," a source said.

"Jen thinks life is short and doesn't believe in wasting time. Jen is eager to get [their divorce] finalised as quickly as possible to open the door to her new life with Casper."

But a rep for the American Idol judge has since shot down the wedding talk, telling Gossip Cop that the report is "1000 per cent inaccurate".

Done and dusted. Or so we thought...

A recent tweet by J-Lo's friend and favourite designer, Roberto Cavalli, has set tongues wagging that the singer might be ready to tie the knot after all.

J-Lo cops more flak over Fiat ad

27 Jan 04:30 PM

A post on his official Twitter page earlier this week read: "Today, Jenifer Lopez. Call me...... She ask me. To create a special dress. For her next weding. !

"Wich colour ... Do you advise me. ?" read the tweet, adding, "I think..... Red like the fire. !!"

Sounds lovely. But here comes the kicker. Cavalli's rep claims the fashion titan's Twitter account was hacked, and "therefore it's completely false".

The tweets have since been deleted, but not from what's purported to be Cavalli's personal account.

Lopez has also taken to her official website to slam the gossip: "Here's the truth now: ROBERTO CAVALLI'S TWITTER ACCOUNT was hacked. The rumour is not true. - Jennifer Lopez."

She continued: "I decided there needs to be a place (The J. Low), where you can get the truth. Using this site as my way to connect, I'll share the reality of my life right here, and make sure you never have to wonder about what is or isn't real. What I tell you is the truth, everything else is just talk. Thanks for supporting and always believing in me."

Adds one of J-Lo's pals to People: "They are not getting married. They are not even engaged."

No, that would be a tad premature. She is still married after all, despite having filed for divorce "months ago".

Cavalli, if you remember, inadvertently broke the news of J-Lo's pregnancy back in 2007. While the singer had remained tight-lipped about her then-rumoured pregnancy, the designer let slip that she was expecting.

Asked what sartorial projects he had on the go at the time, he said: "Well Jennifer Lopez, at this moment, she requests something very special because she is waiting for the baby.

"It is so complicated because every week she is getting bigger."

Lopez gave birth to twins the following February.

Asked if she would ever get married again, the singer told The Today Show's Matt Lauer in January: "I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. We'll see. I mean, I don't know," she said. "It's not time to think about that yet. It's still fresh."

Meanwhile, J-Lo's manager and business partner Benny Medina has flipped the lid on her personal life, and given his take on why she was attracted to her new man.

Medina, who is the godfather of Lopez's twins, Max and Emme, tells Vogue (via the Daily Mail): "She's not oblivious to her own reality right now, as in, 'Damn, I'm 42 with a 24-year-old. Why?' We talked about it yesterday," he explains.

"She was just like, 'It's not even the age, Benny. It's actually that I just came out of a relationship where I felt like I was kind of not getting what I needed. And I'm open! So somebody who steps in right now and is actually touching me in a way - it's very fertile ground!'"

Medina also offered his take on J-Lo's love life. She's been married three times, and been romantically involved with Ben Affleck and P Diddy.

"The thing that I always sort of wished is that she would give herself time to just naturally meet someone, instead of having obsessive guys pursue her," he adds.

"The ease with which that obsession becomes a relationship I think sometimes works against her ability to have a real meaningful relationship.

"And she never half does anything. When she commits to anything in her work, her life, or her relationships, she is in it."

That she is. And for the time being at least, her commitment to Mr Smart doesn't appear to extend to a trip down the aisle.
