As a result, Lovato will no longer perform in Charlotte on April 8, Atlanta on April 12, Nashville on April 14, Denver on May 5, or Las Vegas on May 8.
She added: “I am so sad to say that I will no longer be able to see you on this tour and I am so sorry to those who planned to be there.”
In addition, her concert in Orlando has been moved from April 10 to three days later on the 13th, where the tour will now “kick off”.
Lovato concluded her post with information on obtaining refunds, before telling those who will get to see her in action that she can’t wait.
She wrote: “If you purchased your tickets for one of these shows through Ticketmaster or AXS, refunds will be issued automatically. If you purchased from a third-party reseller (StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats) etc, please reach out to your point of purchase.
“In Orlando, all previously purchased tickets will be honoured for the new date.
“Additional tickets are available on demilovato.com/tour.
“I am so excited for this tour and am looking forward to seeing so many of your faces singing with me! Thank you for your support always. I love you and I cannot wait to see you soon.”
The singer has previously expressed doubts about touring again because of the impact on her health.
She told The Hollywood Reporter in 2024: “It takes a toll on your body.”
