UK popstar Rita Ora has been forced into a second apology for breaking COVID-19 rules after admitting she flew to Egypt by private jet and failed to quarantine for 14-days upon returning home.
Instead, the 30-year-old singer threw a "spur of the moment" birthday party for herself and 30 friendsincluding Cara and Poppy Delevigne, one week later at a London restaurant.
Pictures of the birthday party surfaced last week showing the star's friends arriving with bottles of alcohol and police peering in the windows.
Now, the Mail on Sunday has revealed Ora returned from Cairo on a private jet on November 21 - one week before her November 28 bash - after performing at a five-star hotel for which she was paid a six-figure fee.
Under government rules she should have spend 14 days in isolation, however the singer ditched the protocol and has been forced to issue a second groveling apology.
"I recently flew to Egypt to perform at a corporate event for a private company, where my travel party followed protocol and presented negative Covid tests upon entry, as required by Egyptian authorities," she said in a statement.

"Upon my return to Britain, I should have followed government advice and isolated myself for the required period. As you know, I didn't follow government advice and for that I apologised earlier this week. I apologise again, unreservedly."
She reassured fans she had tested negative for the virus, but said: "While I realise the apologetic words of a pop star might not carry much weight, especially one who has broken the rules like I have, I do realise that some might seek to follow my example. My message to them is simple: Please don't.
"The guilt and shame I've carried this week for my mistake aren't worth it. Instead, continue to listen to the government advice and the voices of the heroes of the NHS and take the required precautions. I will take the criticisms coming my way because I deserve them."
Ora said she hoped "to one day make it up to the public who have given me so much support over the years and, in particular, make it up to the heroes of the NHS".
Earlier Ora had posted pictures of herself on Instagram on her birthday writing "Thank you for all the love it felt weird not doing anything for my bday so being me I dressed up and ate cake."
She also told the Sunday Times Style Magazine in an interview two weeks ahead of her 30th she would be celebrating at home.
"It's going to be literally my parents and me. I'm actually looking forward to it, just hanging out with parents. Is that weird? My reputation is going to go down the drain but they're my favourite people to hang out with," she said.
Last week Ora offered to pay an $18,000 fine after throwing an "inexcusable" party with friends amid a second lockdown as virus cases surged across the UK.
"Hello all, I attended a small gathering with some friends to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was a spur of the moment decision made with the misguided view that we were coming out of lockdown and this would be OK … I'm deeply sorry for breaking the rules and in turn understand that this puts people at risk," she said on Instagram.
"This was a serious and inexcusable error of judgment. Given the restrictions, I realise how irresponsible these actions were and I take full responsibility.
"I feel particularly embarrassed knowing first-hand how hard people have worked to combat this terrible illness and being fully aware of the sacrifices that people and businesses have made to help keep us all safe. Even though this won't make it right, I want to sincerely apologise."
