Lady Gaga's raunchy performance on UK talent show The X Factor has generated more than 100 complaints to Ofcom.
The TV watchdog is now assessing whether to launch a full investigation into the show, which aired the raunchy clip prior to the 9pm watershed.
In the performance, Lady Gaga donneda flesh-coloured bikini and writhed around on top of a piano as she sang her new singles Venus and Do What U Want from her album ARTPOP.
Ofcom said it received more than 100 complaints, while ITV has received a further 60.
But Gaga still has some way to go eclipse the 2868 complaints generated by Rihanna and Christina Aguilera for their performances at the 2010 X Factor final, which were judged by Ofcom to be at "the very margin of acceptability".
Vivienne Pattison, director of Mediawatch UK, told the Daily Mail: "The X Factor are doing everything they can to keep their ratings up. I don't think things like this should be in TV.
"It is damaging to the children who watch the show."
An ITV spokesman defended the star's performance, saying: "We do not believe Lady Gaga's performance was inappropriate for the family audience of The X Factor Results show, which has an established tradition of featuring performances from the biggest music stars of the moment.
