Chris Martin of Coldplay had a laugh about the list of items allegedly banned from their show tonight.
Coldplay's lead singer has landed in the country and taken the first opportunity he could to scoff at the lengthy list of items banned at tonight's concert.
Chris Martin made a guest appearance on a radio show to talk about the Herald article which detailed how concert goers might haveto check almost everything, at the door.
"We got in the car and someone said you guys have banned everything at your show...they showed me this article that said um... if you come to our concert, you basically have to come with no clothes on, can't come with anything at all," he told The Edge.
"We had a massive problem with cutlery in the early 2000s... occasionally someone comes on the stage and wants to have a hug.
"In the old days it used to be like keys and cds and stuff, recently I haven't noticed that much."
Instructions regarding what can and can't be taken into the band's Mt Smart Stadium show - and other upcoming shows at the venue - have been issued and they are lengthy.
