Returning home to Blenheim this week, Clara fulfilled the booking to the delight of company staff.
"It really was an honour and privilege to have Clara play and honour her commitment after what would have been the biggest week of her life," said Carina Dick of Bayleys.
Wearing a blue dress and her trademark boots, the teen sang a selection of her own songs to a crowd of about 100 people.
Her last song, Where Do You Find Love - which she sang in the show final - brought many to tears, including her mother Rachel Van Wel who had accompanied her daughter.
Given Clara's rising star, the company decided to increase her payment to $250.
"I thought: 'I can't give a girl who's won New Zealand's Got Talent only $100'," Dick said.
Almost a million New Zealanders tuned in to watch the season finale of New Zealand's Got Talent last Sunday. For taking out the top spot, Clara won $100,000, a recording contract and a car.
