Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World.
Is Chris Pratt a match for the deadly Indominus Rex?
In the first full-length trailer for Jurassic World, it seems this genetically modified version of T-Rex has escaped from a theme park and Pratt is the man to hunt it down.
It's the fourth in the Jurassic Park movie franchiseand this time the owners of the theme park have created a genetically modified dinosaur to keep attendance rates up.
But the Indominus Rex, designed to be bigger than the T-Rex, escapes and wreaks havoc. The dinosaurs figure out how to communicate with each other and the beasts unleash havoc.
In a quieter moment during the dramatic clip, Pratt can be heard telling his co-star Bryce Dallas Howard how he builds a relationship with the dinosaurs.
"It's not about control, it's a relationship based on respect. These animals are thinking I gotta eat, I gotta hunt," he says.
However, it turns out Indominus has gone even further and starts killing for sport.
• Jurassic World will release in New Zealand cinemas on June 11.
