Troubled singer Chris Brown has taken to Instagram to scold police officers outside his door after officers responded to a woman's distress call.
The Los Angeles Police Department said that officers from homicide and robbery division, which deals with celebrity cases, headed to Brown's address after a woman called for help at 3.11am.
Singer Chris Brown has broken his silence following his dramatic arrest last week, claiming he has been set-up and the truth will come out.
In a video provided to US media, Brown maintained his innocence over accusations he threatened a woman with a gun inside his home.
"I cannot wait'til the truth comes to light about this incident and this situation," Brown says in the video.
"You know, because my character's been defaced and who I am as a person and my integrity. I'm glad that all my real supporters know me, and know the truth and see the truth."
Beauty queen Baylee Curran called authorities early last Tuesday, alleging the singer had pulled a gun on her.
She claims it all started over a box of expensive diamond jewellery.
"I was just standing over it admiring it. Not touching it ... and then one of Chris's friends says 'back away from the diamond,'" Curran said. "That's when Chris came in and said 'I'm so sick of all of you people'. He took the gun out put it in my face and said 'get the F out.'"
It led to a 14-hour standoff between Brown and police, only ending when officers obtained a search warrant to enter the residence and arrested him. He was later released on $US250,000 (NZ$337,000) bail.
Recently, Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos tweeted that the accusations are "demonstrably false," and that the singer is being set-up by Curran. He shared a text message he claims Curran sent to a friend minutes before the call was placed.
It reads: "This freak Chris Brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend's jewellery fake ... I'm going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson. I'm going to set his a** up."
