Chris Brown sued after allegedly punching a woman

Chris Brown is being sued by a woman who accused him of punching her in the face.

The Fine China hitmaker was accused of striking Liziane Gutierrez in the face during an afterparty in Las Vegas last month, and though police recently ruled he won't face criminal charges, he is the subject of a lawsuit accusing him of battery, theft and defamation.

The woman has filed documents in Clark County, Nevada in which she states she went into Chris' room at the Palms Hotel and Casino, only for someone - either the 26-year-old star or someone in his crew - hit her in the "face and/or arm and/or hands".

The theft accusation relates to her claim someone in the room took her cell phone, while battery stems from a video posted by the Yeah 3x hitmaker calling her "too ugly" to be at his party, TMZ reports.

Chris had always denied the allegations and insisted the alleged victim was just annoyed at not being allowed into the party.

His representative previously insisted Liziane - who did not seek medical attention and called police a few hours after leaving the party - was escorted out of the star's private afterparty for "being disruptive and out of control."

While waiting for security to bring out her phone, she allegedly had a "total meltdown," which was caught on the hotel's security cameras, prompting the venue's security staff to step in an assist in removing her from the resort.
