She explained: “We would be being killed by machinery or something like that. And I feel like if it was an it-girl thing, all the deaths would be on the runway. I would probably die at some kind of a rave. You know what I mean?”
Back in November, Charli – who is also working with Jack Antonoff on music for the upcoming horror movie Mother Mary – reflected on how much she has been enjoying working in the movie industry.
She wrote on her Substack: “Film is where my creative brain seems to be gravitating.
“I’m enjoying acting, I’m enjoying writing, I’m enjoying watching and I’m above all enjoying discovering a new craft.”
However, while film has proven to be “really enriching and instinctual”, Charli insisted at the time she wouldn’t be walking away from her chart career entirely.
She added: “Music is a limb I will probably never fully be able to cut from my body despite trying quite hard to do so at points.”
Meanwhile, Charli recently praised her The Moment co-star Kylie Jenner.
Speaking at a Q and A in Brooklyn, Charli shared: “I really enjoyed shooting the Kylie scene, obviously.”
The film features cameo appearances from a host of big-name stars, including Jenner and Rachel Sennott. And Charli had a huge amount of fun during the shoot.
She shared: “The first scene we shot for the film was with Rachel and the last day was with Kylie. So we sort of bookended with two legends, which was pretty cool … two people playing themselves.”
Charli found working with Jenner – who has achieved billionaire status through her make-up brand – to be really easy.
The singer explained: “I think with the Kylie scene, it was so fun, because it really was so easy and effortless and she really, like, played with it, did her thing.”
