'Celebs stuck in traffic' video goes viral

An American comedian's impressions of celebrities struggling through a traffic jam has gone viral.

Lauren O'Brien's YouTube video, called My Impressions of Celebrities Stuck in Traffic, has had nearly four million views since being posted online last week.

In the two-minute clip, she dons wigs and mocks celebs like Angelina Jolie, Ellen Degeneres, Katie Holmes and Kim Kardashian as they sit in a traffic jam.

O'Brien told news.com.au her favourite celebrity to impersonate was Modern Family star Sofia Vergara.

"I started doing impressions as a little kid. I would have my parents cracking up doing impersonations of family members, teachers, the mail man.

"I was a middle child so quickly learned how to get my attention in a family of five kids," she told news.com.au.

The success of the video means O'Brien plans to release a sequel.
