What do you send Dave Grohl to cheer him up after breaking his leg?

If you're Lionel Richie, you send the Foo Fighters singer a s**tload of muffins.

Grohl told The Guardian that after he hurt his leg and had to cancel his 2015 performance at Glastonbury, he received a special delivery from the All Night Long singer.

"Just after my leg surgery I was staying at the Grosvenor hotel in London and one afternoon my wife comes in and says: 'You got the biggest muffin basket I've seen in my entire life!' And there's this assortment of muffins two metres high. There must have been 6000 f**king muffins.

"The card said: 'Sorry to hear about the leg, missing you at Glastonbury, get well soon, PTO.' I thought: 'Who the f**k is PTO? Is that a booking agent?'

I got a text an hour later saying: 'Lionel Richie wants to know if you got the muffin basket.' He was playing in the legends slot [at Glastonbury] that year. I love Lionel Richie!"

Leto really immersed himself into the role of the Joker on the set of Suicide Squad, so much so that he sent his famous co-stars some pretty f**ked up gifts.

Leto sent Margot Robbie a live rat, he sent bullets to Will Smith and he also gifted other co-stars used condoms and a dead pig.

"I did a lot of things to create a dynamic to create an element of surprise, a spontaneity and to really break down any kind of walls that may be there," Leto told E!.

"The Joker is somebody who doesn't really respect things like personal space or boundaries."

EMINEM

It seems like an unlikely friendship, but Eminem and Elton John are actually great mates.

And the Lose Yourself rapper bought a rather unique gift for Elton on the legendary singer's big day.

"He's got a great sense of humour," Elton said about Eminem to Rolling Stone.
"When David [Furnish] and I had our civil partnership, he sent us a present.

In a case, on velvet cushions, were two diamond c**k rings."

Elizabeth Taylor flew by helicopter to Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch to surprise the King of Pop with a massive, albeit bizarre gift.

"She came out with this huge elephant," Jackson explained in a documentary.

"It was unbelievable. Elizabeth was dressed like a gypsy and that's why I named the elephant Gypsy. It was one of the best presents that I have ever gotten."

In 2014, more than 10 years after he split from Angelina Jolie, Billy Bob Thornton spoke about how the actress came home one day with a present for him.

"You know those lockets you buy that are clear and you put a picture of your granny in it or something like that and wear it around your neck?" Thornton said at the time.

"She bought two of those ... She thought it would be interesting and romantic if we took a little razor blade and sliced our fingers, smeared a little blood on these lockets and you wear it around your neck just like you wear your son or daughter's baby hair in one. Same thing."
