Jennifer Lopez has unveiled the artwork for her new single Ain't Your Mama online, but it hasn't taken long for fans to pick up on one detail from the stunning single cover.
If you think the always-flawless 46-year-old looks especially youthful in the picture, well, that's because she is -it appears the photo was taken some 13 years ago.
The picture actually shows a 33-year-old Lopez, and was originally shot for a 2003 issue of Esquire Magazine, as several eagle-eyed fans have pointed out.

If it were another artist, we'd wonder if this was a deliberate ploy to keep up with radio's youth-obsessed playlists, where 40-something artists like Sia and Gwen Stefani are the rare exceptions to the rule. But here's the thing: Lopez doesn't appear to have aged in the past 15 years anyway. We can only assume that, like the rest of us, she simply has difficulty telling pictures of a 33-year-old J Lo and a 46-year-old J Lo apart.
The new single will be available on iTunes this week following J Lo's performance of it on American Idol. In the meantime, she's teased fans with a snippet of the song - give it a listen below:
