A contestant on British quiz show Mastermind has proved himself to be one of the biggest Game of Thrones fans around.

Joe Errington chose GRR Martin's five-strong novel series A Song of Ice and Fire as his specialist topic in the category of literature on a recent episode of the show.

The marketing executive then proceeded to get 10 out of 13 insanely difficult questions correct over the two-minute round.

The questions started out easy but then got increasingly difficult, to the point where many diehard Thrones fans would struggle to answer them.
