Can you believe Cee Lo Green wore this to perform on The X Factor?

Cee Lo Green's floral suit, worn during a performance on The X Factor got more people commenting on Twitter than his music.

Cee Lo Green's crazy floral get-up has caused quite a stir, prompting the internet to come up with some hilarious comparisons.

The singer donned a 3D floral suit for his performance on The X Factor results show at the weekend.

He rolled out new track Music To My Soul but it was his outfit, not the song, that became a hot topic on social media.

Following the show Green made a shout out online, sharing a tweet with his 1.84 million followers.

But there was no mention of the motivation behind his most unusual outfit choice.

There is however a link to the cover art for new album Heart Blanche, released on November 6, where he appears dressed in a different floral configuration, that covers his entire body from head to toe.

As he emerged on The X Factor stage the hitmaker was almost completely camouflaged, whilst standing in front of a full floral wall.

His two piece suit quickly became the butt of more than a few jokes on Twitter.
