Brooke Hogan has finally seen her late father Hulk Hogan’s body.
The 37-year-old star explained that Hulk’s body looked “great” as she got to see the wrestling legend at peace more than a month after his death aged 71 from a heart attack.
Appearing on Bubba the Love Sponge’s radioshow, Brooke said: “It was actually a really nice day.
“I was able to see my dad and he looked great – he looked like he was ready for a pay-per-view [wrestling event].
“He looked like he was ready to go on TV. He was big, strong, hair looking good, bandana on, Fu Manchu [moustache] going... he looked great. It was awesome to see him.”
Brooke said a prayer over her father’s body before saying her “final goodbyes” to the WWE icon.
“It was super nice.”

In a separate interview with TMZ, Brooke also confirmed she had seen incision scars on Hulk’s chest, which confirmed that an autopsy had been performed on his body.
Referring to her recent request for an autopsy to rule out any suspicious cause of Hulk’s death, she said: “That was what I came there to do.”
Brooke was estranged from her father in the final years of his life and explained she opted not to attend his funeral this month because she claimed Hulk “didn’t want” an official end-of-life ceremony and she preferred to remember him in her own way.
The Hogan Knows Best star wrote on Instagram: “My father hated the morbidity of funerals. He didn’t want one.
“And although I know people grieve in many ways – and I’m so grateful for all celebrations and events organised to honour him, as his daughter, I had to make my own decision to honour him the best and most genuine way I knew how… privately… the way that made me feel the closest to him. The only thing missing today was him in is pop up lawn chair watching the waves… and the sunset [sic].”
Brooke accompanied the post with photos of her family, including husband Steven Olesky and their 7-month-old twins Oliver and Molly, and addressed “special” Hogan directly in the rest of her message.
She wrote: “Daddy, we honoured you in the simplest way that agreed with my soul. We took our babies to the beach, and put them in the same salty waters you loved. Molly loved the water. I think she’ll be a ‘little fish’ as you called me. We love you and honour the things that made you so special. Every grain of sand and every wave reminded me of being your beach baby, and brought us closer to you. I pray you are at peace and know how dearly I love you. Rest in heaven, Daddy.”
